Home & Away Counseling

Your licensed guide to

a mindful way of life
from the comfort of Your home

There's no place like home. That's a phrase that people often use, and it's one that definitely rings true for me. There's something special about the feeling of being in my own space, surrounded by the things that I love. For some, its a feeling of comfort and security. Others may say there is no feeling quite like coming home after a long day. Whether you've been out exploring the world or just working hard at the office, it's always nice to walk through the door and be surrounded by the people and things you love. We can let our guard down and just be. No matter what our individual circumstances are, home is a special place for all of us. It's a place of comfort, security, and love. And it's always there for us when we need it. My goal as a counselor will be to assist in finding what home means to you, in creating a safe and comfortable atmosphere we can explore the issues that might keep us from feeling at home with ourselves. In exploring the issues that my clients express, we work together to find the tools to provide a feeling of peace whether they are home or away.

Considering Counseling?

Mental health counseling is important for a variety of reasons. First and foremost, it can help individuals to cope with mental illness and to develop healthy coping mechanisms. In addition, mental health counseling can provide support and guidance during difficult life transitions. It can also help individuals to explore their thoughts and feelings, and to gain insights into their behavior. Finally, mental health counseling can serve as a preventative measure, helping individuals to identify early warning signs of mental illness and to seek treatment before the condition becomes more severe.
